Configuring the IB terminal (TWS)

The following steps are only necessary if you are going to use the CONNECTOR to synchronize with IB.

In the terminal window, in the menu bar, select File – Global Configuration.

In the settings window that opens, on the left in the navigation bar, select API – Settings.

Make sure the Read-Only API option is not selected and the following options are selected on the right in the settings panel:

– Enable Active-X and Socket Clients;

– Create API message log file

Set the settings values:

– Socket port – the port through which the CONNECTOR will connect to the TWS;

– Trusted IPs – IP-addresses to which the CONNECTOR will connect. It is not required if the connection will be at 127.0.0.1.

In the navigation bar, select API – Precautions. Make sure the option Bypass Order Precautions for API Orders is selected.

Click the OK button to save the changes.
