Configuring a Bybit account

The following steps are only necessary if you are going to use the CONNECTOR to synchronize with Bybit.

Register an account at the Bybit website or log in to your account if it was previously registered.

Go to the Account & Security page and make sure that Google 2FA Authentication is configured.

Create an API Key.

Go to the API Management page and click the Create New key button.

Select the System-generated API key type:

Select API Transaction from the API Key Usage options. Enter an arbitrary Name for the API key. Select Read-Write from the API Key Permissions options, and make sure the No IP Restriction option is selected if you want to use the key from any IP address.

Select the following Standart Account options: Orders and Positions for Contract, USDC Derivatives Trading for USDC Contracts (if required) and Trade for SPOT.

Click Submit. Enter Google verification code and click Confirm.

Keep the API Key and the API Secret in a safe place.
